Trekking In Solukhumbu, Nepal

Here we go! Let’s go along the mysterious mountain path of the uncharted Himalayan routes. Tickets are bought. Travel dates April 6-21. Who has long wanted to visit Nepal, but was afraid of high altitudes and long transitions, this route is for you!

2-week journey through the Nepalese Himalayas. Trekking in the Lower Solukhumbu region with immersion in the culture and life of the Sherpa people. Visiting high-altitude Buddhist monasteries and stupas.

We present this route through the Himalayas in order to see the life and culture of the high-altitude Sherpa people. We will visit mountain Buddhist monasteries, gompas and stupas, which will surely give us a new spiritual experience. As for the ascent to Pikes Peak, it is a compressed version of all the mountain adventures in Nepal. This leisurely hike will offer one of the best views of Everest, the highest mountain in the world. Of course, this is not the classic panorama of Everest from Kala Patthar, but we will not have to climb to 5700 meters on this route.

The stunning landscapes and rich vegetation of the Khumbu region will only add to the already amazing views of the Himalayan mountains. And the calm breath emanating from the Himalayas will surely cleanse not only your body, but also your mind and soul.

Even the first person to climb Everest, Sir Edmund Hillary, considered the hike to Pikes Peak to be his favorite trekking route. We believe this route is one of the best easy mountain hikes in Nepal that you should not miss!

Moreover, we are guaranteed not to meet large groups of tourists and caravans of goods, as is the case on the Everest trek or the Annapurna Ring. And a reasonable ascent height of 4000 meters will not allow altitude sickness to develop.

However, this is one of the most easily accessible mountain routes from Kathmandu with amazing views of Everest.

Special mention should be made of the fact that it is at this time (spring) that the most amazing flowers on the planet – Rhododendrons – begin to bloom on the slopes of the Himalayan mountains. It is not for nothing that in Nepal it is the Rhododendron that is the national flower and pride of this country. We will definitely admire this wonderful miracle of nature. After all, no photo can convey the beauty of the unique patterns of the symbol of this high-mountainous country.

The difficulty of this route is rated as moderately difficult compared to other treks in the Everest region. There are very few difficult or steep climbs. No special training is required, and even novice trekkers can enjoy the hike. The daily trekking hours also average 5-6 hours. The entire 6-7 day trek reaches a maximum altitude of 4065m. If you can easily walk 10 km on flat ground in a day, then you are on the right track!

Due to the remoteness of the area and the poor life of the Sherpas, we will not eat imported products with preservatives. All our dishes will include only local vegetation. Dal (local bean soup), bat (rice) and curry (herbs and vegetables) are the main dishes. Vegetables are usually grown locally, without any pesticides and are therefore organic. Thus, the hike will be able to tune in to the desired mode and your stomach. The most interesting thing is that local products are also known as the best remedy for altitude sickness.

The Sherpa people are an ethnic group native to the Solukhumbu district of Nepal. They are known for their mountaineering skills and their ability to live at high altitudes.

When there are no computer toys, children start to include imagination

Sherpas are descended from Tibetan migrants who arrived in Nepal in the 15th century. They are Buddhist by religion and speak the Sherpa language, which is a Tibeto-Burman language.

Sherpas are traditionally farmers and herders, but they have also become involved in the tourism industry in recent years. They work as guides, porters, and cooks for trekkers and climbers.

Sherpas are renowned for their mountaineering skills. They have played a key role in many successful Everest expeditions, including the first ascent in 1953.

Sherpas are also known for their ability to live at high altitudes. They have a genetic adaptation that allows them to breathe more efficiently in thin air.

Sherpas are an important part of the Nepalese community. They are known for their hospitality, their hard work, and their love of the mountains.

Sherpa clans live in these secluded mountain areas with their own unique culture, traditions, way of life and holidays. There are also several settlements of the Tamang and Magar people along the way. Along the way we will see traditional prayer flags. We will visit several Buddhist gumbas (monasteries) and stupas, which represent the deeply rooted Buddhist culture. Acquaintance with the life and traditions of this region will make our hike even more enjoyable. It is not every day that you get to take such a close look at the daily life of people living in such wild and mountainous regions of the Himalayas.
