Sziget Festival 2025

Sziget Festival is one of Europe’s largest music festivals, held on Óbuda Island in Budapest. It draws up to half a million people over the week and spans genres from pop and rock to electronic and experimental music. Past headliners have included Rihanna, Muse, David Guetta and more.

Ticket types vary: day tickets, passes and VIP formats. Hundreds of artists and thousands of guests from around the world are expected.

Pitchfork Music Festival London & Paris 2025

Pitchfork Music Festival will be staged simultaneously in London and Paris for the first time in November 2025. London is set to feature King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard with symphonic accompaniment; Paris highlights include Blood Orange, Panda Bear, A. G. Cook and others.

A single wristband grants access to events at different venues. Ticket sales begin in April 2025. Expect a packed, multi-genre programme.

Musikfest Berlin 2025

Musikfest Berlin is Germany’s leading orchestral music festival, opening the autumn concert season each year. It takes place across Berlin’s stages, including the Philharmonie, and presents top orchestras, contemporary art music, and rare classical works.

Tickets are available online. Prices range from €15 to €80 depending on the programme. Some concerts are free for those under 30 with the “ClassicCard”.

Music Tours

OneRepublic: Escape to Europe Tour

OneRepublic head out on the “Escape to Europe” tour, covering major cities in Western and Central Europe. Stops include Amsterdam (28 September), Hamburg (29 September), Cologne (1 October), Berlin (2 October) and Łódź (4 October), with both fan-favourite hits and new material.

Tickets are available on the official website or via authorised partners (Ticketmaster, Eventim, etc.). Prices depend on the city and seating category, roughly €60–120. Early booking is recommended.

Iron Maiden: Europe Tour (TBC)

Iron Maiden are expected to continue their world tour with possible European dates in fall 2025. Cities and venues have not yet been announced, but fans can watch for updates on the band’s official site.

Linkin Park: South America Tour

Linkin Park return to the stage with a series of concerts across South America. Shows are expected in Brazil, Argentina, Chile and other countries in October and November 2025—the band’s first major tour since returning with a refreshed lineup.

André Rieu: Fall 2025 Tour

San Sebastián International Film Festival 2025

The San Sebastián International Film Festival is one of the oldest and most respected festivals in the Spanish-speaking world. Founded in 1953, it’s held in the coastal city of San Sebastián and attracts directors, actors and cinephiles from around the globe. The programme places particular emphasis on Spanish and Latin American cinema.

Tickets can be purchased online or on site a few days before the start. Prices range from €7 to €15 depending on the screening and venue. The festival also offers passes and student discounts.

BFI London Film Festival 2025

The BFI London Film Festival is the UK’s largest and most prestigious film festival, organised by the British Film Institute. In 2025, the festival marks its 69th edition and will present over 200 films from around the world—from arthouse debuts to major international premieres. Screenings take place at top London venues, including the Southbank Centre and the BFI IMAX.

Tickets are available via the BFI website. Prices range from £10 to £25 depending on format and location. There are also concessions for young people and students. Some screenings include Q&As with directors.

Thessaloniki International Film Festival 2025

Thessaloniki International Film Festival is an annual festival in Greece, held in late October and early November. It features international competition programmes, premieres, masterclasses, exhibitions and concerts.

Tickets can be purchased closer to the start. Visitors can also attend industry sections and workshops.

Sarajevo Film Festival 2025

Sarajevo Film Festival is the largest film festival in Southeast Europe, held in August. In 2025 it runs from 15 to 22 August and opens with the film “Pavilion”—a great chance to see auteur and independent cinema.

The format includes competitions, premieres and an industry programme, as well as the “Heart of Sarajevo” main award.

MOTELX 2025, Lisbon Horror Film Festival

MOTELX is Lisbon’s international festival of horror and thriller cinema. Held annually in September, in 2025 it will once again offer world premieres, short films and filmmaker talks.

It draws critics, audiences and industry professionals. Tickets are sold online, with concessions and package options available.

Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF) 2025

PÖFF – Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival is the largest film festival in Northern Europe and one of the few accredited by FIAPF as an A-category event. The festival is known for its wide international programme, support for independent cinema, and promotion of new auteurs. It features competition and non-competition screenings, industry events and world-class premieres.

Tickets can be purchased online closer to the date. Prices typically range from €6 to €12 per screening. Festival passes and packages with access to all screenings are also available.
